You should be able to change the name of your Kindle Fire by clicking here.

However, I’ll list the steps as well. Once in your Amazon accountant logged in:

1. Click Your Account in the top right
2. Scroll to Digital Content and select Manage Your Kindle
3. In the left column click Manage Your Devices
4. Click edit next to the current Kindle Fire name and Update
5. Pull down your Kindle Fire notification bar and Sync
6. Voila
